Best Android phones out there?

Hi people,

I'm thinking about getting myself a nice new android phone, after looking at a lot of phones it's just too overwhelming how far behind I am with phones. So which android phones are the best out there for performance, memory and features? If you could please link the phone you think is best...

Let's make it the top ten that you would like to own.

Ockiemoto ( :) ) that Defy is a really good option (unless someone is aiming for the top). I recommended it to a friend yesterday (going for R135/m per the June Vodashop catalogue) who hopes to get one tomorrow (when stock at the nearest Vodashop is supposed to arrive).
 
Might as well get the HTC Desire then. R135 per month at Vodacom and is slighly better specced than the Defy.
 
My personal favourite is the Xperia Arc ... and the Xperia Pro (for those wanting a keyboard). When we'll see the Pro is uncertain however. The dual-core Xperia Duo is also in the works but will take months to get here (not even official yet).
 
I compared the Desire and Defy (for this friend of mine) and the Defy came out tops. That water and dust proof casing makes it a winner, and it's still lighter than the Desire despite the casing.
 
I'd say go with Samsung, which model? Android is a pain in the a$s, they've got new models coming out everyday, you can't even look forward to their release.

I used the HTC desire, Sense is overrated, the Galaxy S easily wipes the floor with it. Samsung make the best Android devices out there right now.
 
The Defy has better resolution or pixels per square inch or whateva and it has better battery life! TSEK you HTC Bastads!

/sprays Doom in HTC Bastads direction!
 
Besides, the Defy has accessories the others haven't got: Defy Automaid, Defy Dishmaid ... that's why it is water proof ... LOL!
 
Damn I wish I could upgrade my contract today. Only another year or so until I'm eligible. Sigh!
 
@ocleroux do you have the defy then? I read some not too good reviews on that phone. The other two seem pretty awesome but let's say I'm looking at phones that are available in SA.

I joked with a friend yesterday that he must buy the Defy for his fiancé and tell her that it will go well with the other Defy equipment she'll get to know intimately soon ... LOL!
