Which are the better brand flash drives to run Linux? I want to use Tails OS with persistent storage.

Any decent brand, don't think ive ever seen a flash drive die because it was used too much.

Must have USB 3.0 and at least from these brands.

Tor usage eh. Understandable.

Be sure to use Truecrypt 7.1 for data encryption and not any later versions, with AES256 and Whirlpool.

I use the Kingston Ironkey secure drive. Bought one for R4k for the 128Gb version fro these guys a year or so ago:

 
Have been using an Adata for years to run Tails OS. The OS does not seem to push the drive hard very hard so it has lasted. Any known brand name should do.

I will be upgrading the drive sometime to USB3. My main criterion will be a slim fit rather than a specific brand.
