Best car for 50k or less

Best is either A ford or vw Polo playa for that. R50k will net you a pretty neat playa. Awe!

Uhm, what's wrong with that? It was a VW with a seat badge, then they removed the Seat badge and bolted back on VW ones. Try to ignore people from stellies from now on, they think they know everything

Well they are not bad cars, actually if I had to buy and old Polo it would be a Playa. But for R50k you can get slightly nicer and newer cars.

What he means is if you get a nicer and newer car you will have to get one that has been more abused than the playa. High milage etc.. The playa on the other hand has devalued over time, so you can get a mint condition one that just happens to be 12 years old. Sure you can get a golf mk4 or even 5 for that, but would you really want one that costs R50k?

Bottom line, rather buy a cheap car cheaply, than an expensive car cheaply.
