i remember most of those games.

u remember joust or something...when u are on that ostrige or soemthing, and when you jumped to the side it would slide and u could flap ur wings too...
 
I remember back in 85/86 I played Montezuma's Revenge (Monty). Couldn't get enough of it!

Ahhh... Wing Commander was awesome! I actually enjoyed Dune 2000 - kinda mixed original the C&C recipe into the Dune universe. I still have it installed somewhere. Must try and find time to play it again - I have waaaaaay too little Farlig-time these days :D

there actually have been many classic games that were the best.

diablo 1 +exp +2+exp was awsome playing multiplayer, where weekends were not even enough.

classic game dev's took chances. nowadays we only get the same regurgitated fps/rts games over and over again.
Sometimes I fear we`ll never see the likes of star control II, syndicate and dungeon keeper again. unless its low budget and from indie developers
 
dungeon keeper was awsome 1+2. they were supposed to make a 3rd one,, but bullfrog sold or something.
yeah i really dont know what it was but games in the old days were so much fun to play against each other,,,not that it is'nt now but. now days it just feels like ''work'' rather than fun. like its too much of a competition and u want to just kick ass. back in the day, u laughed at getting run over, or blown up with a rocket in duke nukem 3d.
 
or running around armless in rune. with the other players teaming up and running after you trying to hit you with your own arms. :D
 
This is my top run, as far as i can remember of best games :) some good memories pop up when thinking about this. I remember in Golden Axe you could edit some stuff in the files config and change you dwarf into the last mother you fight (he was the one with the monster hammer. Good Times :D

I'm gonna throw one into the mix here. We used to play "Iron Man Off-road Racing" for hours on end - 4 of us on one keyboard! I still have it in my DOSBox collection - only now I can max out a car in under an hour... ;)

bru that game was awsome,, there was another one the same, where u had to run and u had to hit the buttons fast to run faster,, i dont remember the name,, but man now that i think of it, it was so fun...lol
