Best Game Intros

Not that I'm a huge Metal Gear Solid fan, or even played the first title, MGS2's intro, especially the music (from 30 seconds onward, the way it builds up plus the serious tone associated with it) will always remain epic to me the first time I saw it:

Never played the new Prey but thanks for reminding me of the original which has one of the best playable intros. Always immediately went straight for the jukebox first

The original prey was a very disturbing game (although very good)

Highly recommend the new Prey, nothing like the old one but a fantastic design and experience.

I will get to it eventually I guess. Lots of games I haven't tried yet. Not a huge fan of Arkane Studios' games though. Really hated Dishonored.

Ah okay, I really enjoyed Dishonoured, each to their own but the experience is quite different in Prey.

Yeah I was going to post Half-Life. I see the entire thing up until the moment where **** hits the fan as the intro. Great stuff.

The Opposing Force and Blue Shift ones are great as well.

Someone else can post the HL2 intro(s) which are just as good. Like you said, anything that starts with the valve logo.
