WOTLK was the best expansion imo, just filled to the brim with great lore and environments. I did some raiding in Cata, gave the next two a skip, played some end game Legion. With BFA I played the beginning and end, actually enjoyed the hell out of the last raid and managed to get 10/12 mythic with a discord group before the Shadowlands patch dropped, haven't played since. Don't know if I'll ever play again but WOTLK, man those were the good times.

This is the one thing I always felt Blizzard got right from the get go was the narration and plot building. Its by far not the best intro here but I thought it a mention as for almost 30 years later people are still playing in its theme.

If you look at this video you appreciate current day technology and that back then its was hard grafting.
