Best gaming keyboards

I see the Logitech G110 isnt in the list, but thats a good thing because the backlight died about 1 month after buying it brand new. Not a good thing, especially when I've forked out R600 just for the backlighting. So bought me a cheap Logitec K200 keyoard and Logitech Dual Action Gamepad. Both together cost less than the large, overpriced, overrated G110 keyboard.

I used to like gaming keyboards, but lately I've been going for the smallest ones I can find. Having such a large keyboard is really inconvenient.

But surely you took it back and had it fixed or replaced under guarantee? I have a rev2 G15 and have had it for a few years with no problems.

I have the G19, and it rocks! My biggest problem is sometimes hitting the gaming key closest to the left crtl button by mistake. Otherwise it have faired me well over the past 6 months.

One thing about a keyboard that I'm very fussy about - I HAVE to be able to hear the keys as I press them... Otherwise its not a keyboard ;-)

I've got a 5 year old z-board that only developed a problem now (which I fixed).

Before my G19 I had a z-board (actually still have it) with numerous in-lays. Worst keyboard I have had unfortunately. Don't get me wrong, the in-lays are useful, but I found the keys a bit clunky and annoying. I also disliked changing between in-lays, mainly because I would sometimes find myself jumping between the game and normal use even when I was playing a game. It wasn't something I noticed until I got the z-board. Anyway, it was certainly one of the best gaming keyboards around and a great concept.

I had a Zboard as well. Never used the inlays. At the moment using a G15 v.1. Wouldn't mind getting a G19. But I have other things I need to get before that though.

TOPRE!!!!
or Mechanical Black MX switches.

Doesn't look like much but the most expencive keyboard that you can buy.
These things I think was made in the 1900's and has lasted till now, that is how tough they are.

Forget all of those and just remember 1 - Zmerc Stealth. I have one, and it's the best piece of hardware I've ever bought. The WASD on the left hand side is perfect for any type of gaming and comfortable. And it looks pretty to!

Sorry to hear that. Yeah G110 is expensive. But I love mine, it's a great keyboard, and not at all too big for a full sized keyboard.

It's not perfect though, keys don't like being pressed from an angle, which can be frustrating sometimes in game when your keyboard is fighting you...
Also the volume control is rubbish. The + - button on the S510 is better.

With my current keyboard my hands are about 40cm from each other, is the merc about the same, if you use the gaming pad on the left?
I really like this keyboard, think I will get myself one at the end of the year.

Agreed! I've got the old Merc (non-stealth). I got it about 5 years ago. It's seen gaming tournaments, endless hours of raiding, gallons of beer, whiskey and cigarette spills and just keeps on going. Comfortable layout for RPGs and FPSs, good feedback and I've never come across shadowing (a problem that haunts me while playing with any other keyboard.)

I got the Microsoft X4 :
1: push up to 26 keys at once... enabling gamers to utilize feet and other appendages.
2: No LCD screens to distract you and drive up the price of the keyboard
3: probably does this but has never been something I needed.
4: meh
5: it's strong, it works, it has macro keys and macro recording on the fly.
6: It doesn't look like it was meant to be on Captain Kirks lap.

Cool keyboards I cant decide easily where would I like best. I like razor black widow ultimate for it is simple yet elegant with light blue keypad high lights. And the most stunning keyboard I would like to have is this Razer Tron still look like the same but I like this one the most.
