Best Gaming mouse

i thought the lachesis would be the best but its sucks ass

razer copperhead for the win :)

dont take my word for it though im left handed and cannot use logitech stuff

Really? the lachesis has scored so high in ratings and its R200 more than a copperhead.

Take2 have the G5 for R560 but no stock.
Also looking at the microsoft sidewinder and the razer copperhead/lachesis but the razer's dont look as comfortable as you logitechs/sidewinder. Im right handed so the most comfortable one would be the winner right?

latency issues like 10-20ms or like 100ms-500ms?
I LAN Counterstike sauce and COD 2/4 about once a month, might explain why I'm always in the last three..
mebbe its time I get a dedicated gaming mouse and a everything-else-and-looks-damn-pretty mouse

I also umm'd and aaah'd before I bought my G7. Thought it was a lot to spend but once I got it, its worth every cent!

hehe nothing like that at all dude. and you wont really notice it on a LAN/online, mostly in single player stuff. The G7 is a really good one for that.

If you had no limit to your budget, go for the Razer Lachesis.

I had the Deathadder for about 5 months now. Shape and coating is amazing.

My previous mice were the MS Intelli Explorer mouse (bought in 1996) as the first optical mouse. The thing still works altough it has no paint on it anymore.

Then I got a MX500. Second best mouse I ever had that one. My friend is still using it today.

Then I got the G7. Awesome mouse, for the first 6 months, then the left button broke. Got it swapped for a new one. 3 months later, dead sensor. Got new one, but the sensor misread the surface the previous 2 were fine on. When I felt the left button starting to go again, I sold it and bought the deathadder.

Best value for money mouse currently I think is the new Daimondback 3G. they replaced the old sensor with the new one in the Deathadder. You should be able to pick it up for under R300. Also, get any colour you want, red, blue or green.

Its weird that the lachesis actually cheaper than a G5 but has a much higher DPI rating.
I havnt actually used one of the razers but they just look too small and flat to me, I like the contoured shape of the logitechs fro comfort during long gaming sessions.

The Deathadder for some reason only has a 3G optical sensor while the copperhead has a lazer sensor, whats the deal with that?

i bought the lachesis and its a piece of rubbish gone back to my copperhead

razer have not done themselves justice on this mouse

what a waste of 500 bucks

Killa you wanna sell it for cheap then? :p
you play bf2 as |BFC|killa dont you?

I got a wireless microsoft intellimouse explorer 2 and a old logitech mx500.
I gamed for a long time with both mice and no problem there (the mx500 is nicer for gaming though but the wireless preforms without a hitch), except that the wireless one usually dies on me at lans. Maybe there are too many wireless mice in the area or it could be the metal tables, but at 70% of the lans my wireless mouse basicly doesn't work even with a fresh set of batteries. This only happens at lans though :(.
Therefor I now have both my mx500 and wireless plugged in. Using the wired at my desk and for lans while I use the wireless when I am watching movies from my bed.

I have the wireless intellimouse desktop with the wireless keyboard and mouse, but the response times are fast enough for my gaming needs. By the time they respond you have already been pwn3d.

Get a Razer Deathadder. Best mouse out there.

I love mine.

Its weird so many people recon the copperhead is better, but I like the Deathadder with its buttons on the side. hmmm. choices choices.

Hmmm, I've just read some reviews of the Lachesis. Seems if you can get over the price and weird form factor, it's the best mouse out there. If not, get a Deathadder.

Still using a MS Intellimouse Optical

Works like a charm for Source games, where headshots are crucial.... Got Razor and Habu, nothing comes close to the MSIO

You need a decent mouse pad to go with your mouse, else you might aswell get the R 80 AOpen mice.

Been thinking about getting a decent gaming mouse for a while. R179 is not bad at all. Almost too good to be true :D

As for mouse pad . What would you recomend? :D
