Best hunter spec PvE

I've got a lvl 63 hunter. Haven't played with her for a while, but would like to take her to 80 now. What would be the best spec for PvE? What would be the best pet for pve? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

to level her or to do heroics whit here once she is 80 ?

for leveling BM is best

BM is a very ****ty spec nowadays, even to lvl. you can get good damage and crits with MM, though it takes alot of mana. but anyway, wait for pornolio, he can get you the best advice regarding hunters around here.

true but your pet holds aggro and you dont spend half your time runing away from the mob instead of killing it

but then again you kill faster whit MM or S it just gets a bit hectic whit a couple of mobs on you thats easyer to kill BM spec

sv ain't bad either u just shoot a exsplosive shot and watch how the mob die

SV or MM, use misdirect to pet if it cant hold aggro
BM just lack too much for me to even consider it as a leveling spec Maybe after some changes to the class they will be up there again.

..... anyway. mystique, if you play on a pvp server id suggest go with mm or survival, with bm your pet is not going to help you that much when another player attacks you. though bm hunters can tame exotic pets that isnt too bad

If you play on a pvp server then dont go BM go SV.

I would also reccomend getting a "tanking" pet like a gorilla or a turtle. they hold aggro pretty well especially with a missdirect.
