Im abit new to myBB so how exactly do we ask RPM for the stats? thats a great idea btw :D

Send the user named RPM a private message, and its already done. Now just to wait if he will do so.

While we on browsers, I must admit I kinda like the new IE9 TV ad, pity it doesn't really advertise the browser much. Its more of a Internet TV Add.

MyBroadband browser stats over last 30 days

1. Internet Explorer - 29.93%
2. Chrome - 27.91%
3. Firefox - 26.91%
4. Safari - 7.95%
5. Opera Mini - 2.30%
6. Opera - 1.80%
7. Android Browser - 1.39%
8. Mozilla Compatible Agent - 0.97%
9. BlackBerry8520 - 0.30%
10.IE with Chrome Frame - 0.16%

Interesting to see that Android started to show, I would have thought most people would be using the MyBB app instead.
Also a pity that iOS is included in the Safari stats, would be interesting to see a comparison, but I guess when Android Chrome becomes the norm we will see the same for the Android versions.

Surprised that chrome is higher than ff. Think I'm going to give it a serious workout for the next few days.

hmmm cant believe IE is the most used browser... maybe i just have something against IE

Because I do web dev, I need to run ie, ff and chrome all the time, but since chrome first came out I switched to it from ff.

Love chrome for its stability and separately threaded tags, speed and fluidity.

when ff hit version 3.6 I started noticing serious slowdowns, only after ver 7 did it start picking up again for me!

Ie still gives me the "aw cr@p, clicked on the icon by mistake, now suffer the consequences" feeling :D

IE will be the most prominent used, doesn't mean its the most loved.

Most of the large firms don't allow people to install their browser of choice and keep to IE as a standard because of it coming with the OS/PC.

I don't like Chrome personally, as I struggle to get bookmarks and RSS feeds to work as well as they do in Firefox. And I hate not having a dedicated search box with a dropdown for the search provider I want to use. Firefox gets my vote as the best web browser - I love it.

Personally, I don't like having to click a dropdown box and then type in the search item. In Chrome, you can start typing the website (eg. "wiki" for wikipedia), then push tab (once it's brought up the suggested website), and type in the search item to search wikipedia. This also works for many other sites, e.g. IMDB, Prophecy, Sybaritic, etc.

I don't care for that app, so a good part of that 1.39% could be me :D

I think some people aren't even aware that their are other browsers... IE ships with windows by default, so they just use that...

Chrome ftw. I like the web applications. Speed. Simplicity. Syncing to my Google account. Gmail offline. Gtalk application. The fact that apps update automatically including the browser aswell. Something that MS can really learn from and implement in their metro apps that you manually have to update via the store. The omnibar is also genius.

Definitely Chrome.
I used to use IE then found Firefox and my life was changed!
But in the last couple of months my Firefox gave so many problems like slow startups and various other annoying things so i decided to try Chrome and i was so impressed.

Sticking with Chrome for sure
