Best looking Socket 1366 Motherboard BIOS

Hi all

I am building a new rig and am thinking of getting an i7 950 attached with a water cooling unit for overclocking, but one thing that is keeping me from buying it is that the motherboards that support it seem old fashioned and bland. The BIOS on most seem hideously outdated. I am not looking for a motherboard with high performance specs but one that has a good looking bios similar to the ASUS P8P67-M PRO. Please if you could provide screenshots that would be great :D

If I can't find one, which I prefer to, then I will ditch the water cooling unit and go for a i7 2600K with an ASUS P8P67-M PRO, however I won't be able to overclock it too much.
 
I do not recall any LGA1366 boards supporting UEFI, so you're out of luck if you're looking for a flashy bios screen
 
Guess I'll have to go with an i7 2600K then or I might wait for the new Ivy Bridges
 
How long do you sit and stare at the bios screen every day?
 
A flashy BIOS screen won't make your PC any more future proof!

The only things you rather need to look for in a good Socket 1366 motherboard that would make it future proof are:
1) USB 3
2) SATA 3 (6Gbps)
3) Good overclocking reputation

Secondly, the Socket 1366 motherboards are quite scarce now it seems if you're looking for a brand new one.

Lastly, I found it much easier to overclock & tweak settings using the old BIOS style, rather than thew new UEFI that allow you to use a mouse. < This was on an Intel Z68DB motherboard IIRC.

Like you said Socket 1366 mobo's are scarce nowadays, and are considered to be a dead end by most. So if I would go with a Socket 1155 mobo then it would be more future proof wouldn't it, and an upside is the flashy BIOS :D
 
Just out of curiosity what would be an effective, yet affordable water-cooling system to get, I'm looking along the lines of the Antec KÜHLER H₂O 920, but would it make any difference compared to high end air cooling fans?
 
Compared to high end air, those sealed coolers will be 3-5°C lower, max.
