Hey there everyone.
I am interested to hear your thoughts on what Mobile Encryption program you would consider to be the best?
By mobile I mean everything from Laptop right through to mobile phones/PDA's.
The requirement is pretty simple, to encrypt the end-point to protect data on all/as many mobile devices as possible.
So far i've looked at Mcafee's Mobile Data Protection
- Only encryption solution that has option for DLP (Data Loss Prevention)
- Can do both File and Folder Encyption as well as Whole Disk.
-
With regards to PDA's and mobile phones, only supports Windows Mobile
Check Point's Pointsec
- Has a massive list of supported phones and pda's including Windows mobile, Symbian and Palm.
- No DLP or File and Folder Encryption... Only has Whole Disk Encyption
and finally PGP
- Biggest downfall is that they only support one mobile OS and thats Windows Mobile.
- Only vendor that has support for Blackberry services...
- Sophisticated Server management (Centrally managed)
Any other suggestions?
