Very cool. I just want the game.

As I discovered, Halo seems pretty standard fair until you hear the satisfying thud of your first rifle butt to someone's face ;) Like a GoW chainsaw, but with skill.
 
You aren't serious are you? Water fountain and two plastic toys glued together. Lol.
 
Oh come on, you have to admire the time and effort that went into that. My only concern would be trying to swap it out under warranty :D

Agreed, and I own an Xbox. Maybe this will change when I win a copy of the game. (Hope nobody else saw the competition in the Sunday Times magazine).
 
for me it's not about "getting halo", MC isn't the messianic character some folks consider him ;)

It's a fun game that takes old school run and gun (UT), mixes in some tactical gameplay (CoD/CS) throws in vehicles (BF) and mixes it in a way as to not make it too complex for Joe average. Tack on the massive online community and you just have a really fun experience waiting to happen. There are many other games that do similar things, but I think it's the accessibility that makes it, while at the same time turns some folks off, so no offense taken Scotty. ;)

Me I sit in the middle, I'm more amped for certain other titles down the road, but I'm very keen to have fun playing halo in the interim.
