Best open source Afrikaans STT software

Can anyone recommend good Afrikaans Speech-to-text software for use on my windows desktop?

My use case is short sub-10 minutes voice messages, predominantly in Afrikaans, and I am too lazy to make notes.

I tried the Python version of Whisper in PowerShell and it works great for English, but it translates Afrikaans to Dutch gibberish - I think it thinks it's the Dutch language.

I have no issue in doing STT from English conversations.

Have you tried Elevenlabs.io? Their model 3 supports Afrikaans

Oh, and Microsoft Word also has a transcribe feature if you have a paid subscription. Was brilliant with Brazilian Portuguese, and pretty sure Afrikaans will also be in there

I just tested Elevenlabs.io on a bad quality WhatsApp message and it was surprisingly accurate. Sorry, double checked Word and it doesnt support Afrikaans.
