Best PC for 6k

What games does he want to be able to play and at what settings-Looking to play mostly Guild Wars 2,Dota2 and Left4dead. Some new titles at medium settings is fine.
What features does he want on the motherboard-Nothing specific
What size hard drive does he want-500Gb is fine with him. Already has an external hdd.
How much RAM does he want- Preferably 8Gb
Does he prefer AMD or Nvidia graphics cards- Doesn't matter

Ok the build I posted on the first page should be good except for the fact that it only has 4GB of RAM. What I did was I had actually chosen a cheaper motherboard because the build came to about R5700, so I opted to get a better motherboard instead of the 8GB of RAM.

This is the motherboard I was looking at before I chose the Gigabyte instead:

MSI H61M-P31 (G3) - R459.00

This is pretty much the same as the Gigabyte except that it doesn't have USB 3.0 at the back.

So if you want you can rather get the MSI motherboard above instead of the Gigabyte and get another stick of 4GB RAM.

The total would come to R5974.00 + R75.00 (shipping) = R6049.00

I've adjusted the build oin the first page.

If you want to have R61 you can change the hard drive to this: Seagate Barracuda ST500DM002 - R654.00

I chose the Western Digital over the Seagate because for R61 you get a extra 1 year warranty on the hard drive.

Got the pic of the PSU. I'm new to this forum, so how do I add the pic?

Jesus, a 750W Superchannel PSU? You must be joking. I wouldn't even plug that thing in, let alone turn it on. Resolve, I recommended this to my readers a while ago:

Intel Core i3-3220 @ R1286
Gigabyte B75M-D3H @ R902
Transcend JetRAM DDR3-1333 8GB @ R511
PowerColor HD7770 1GB DDR5 @ R1399
Seagate Barracuda ST1 1TB SATA @ R796
LG GH24NS90 24X DVD-RW @ R171
GIGABYTE PoweRock 400W @ R363
Cooler Master Elite 311 Plus @ R404
Total: R5832

If the PC is going to be used primarily for work rather than gaming, let us know. For a work-orientated build, a few things do change.

Edit: Ooh, what do we have here?

AMD Trinity A8-5600K @ R1292
ASRock FM2A75M-ITX @ R949
ADATA Value DDR3-1600 8GB @ R532
Crucial M4 128GB SSD @ R1349
Seagate Barracuda ST1 1TB SATA @ R796
LG GH24NS90 24X DVD-RW @ R171
GIGABYTE PoweRock 400W @ R363
Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced @ R419
Total: R5871

Just an idea, but at least we're getting better AMD Trinity support. If the aim of the PC is to be used for work purposes and almost no gaming, this is what I'd go with.

That 1st one sounds good, I've also been looking for a pc.

I haven't assembled one in over 10 years - I take it things have changed since then.
Do rebel tech do it for you, or will I have to read instruction manuals?

You can request Rebel Tech to build the PC for you before sending it, however the experience of building it yourself is far better, it's pretty easy these days.

:)
Maybe I should give it a bash then.

Last PC I put together was a Pentium III.

I like that one, but will get an i5 cpu instead of the i3.
