I just stumbled on one of my worst ping results ever, while trying telkom.co.za, I typed in telkom.net, which is in Indonesia. 23 hops, 800ms! (Tracert goes right round the world via SEACOM, NYC, California, Tokyo, Singapore LOL ;-)
Mine seemed to clear up, had a period with no sync for about 4 hours then it seems to have got better, still a bit of jitter compared to what it used to be.
And still have no idea why the packet loss test fails.
I don't know whats up with my line but its been like that since yesterday. On thursday I got an A rating with no packet loss, 32ms ping and 1ms of jitter.
I tried telkom but they weren't any help the guy just reset my port (Which didn't help).
I'm in douglasdale and I don't see notifications of any work or outages in my area so I honestly don't know whats up.
Just spoke to the telkom techs who came to look at my line, They are busy doing the DSLAM upgrade for 10mps. They said it should be ready for November!
