You kidding? 4-way D-pads should be banned from gaming (that goes for Nintendo too!). Lets not even mention the layout of the analogue sticks
And replaced with 8 way ones that don't work?

I like the triggers on the xbox control; that being said, the xcontrol sucks for fighters and its D-pad is horrendous. it is big and clunky though, perfect for those fat, sticky, cheesepuff encrusted american (and apparently some south african lol *just joking*) hands!

hey guys just picked up my 40GB @ look n listen for 4899 with extra controller 
no games atm.. metal gear was sold out
im planning on going down to BTGames to see what pre played games they got!!
Any recommendations of games?

grats dude!! I've been playin a lot of soul calibur 4, its great! no lag in online mode (unlike TDR) i've been vs ppl in other countries and its flawless. MGS4 is a great title, hope you get that one. wish i could recommend a good fps, but i dnt play any. oh and if ur into racing, gt5 prologue is pretty neat. u'll enjoy.

Cool. Thanks for the suggestions! For the meantime, i've downloaded some demo's from my PC and have transferred them to the PS3 via the Proxy method
Busy with Battlefield Bad Company now
Ridge Racer didnt work as i downloaded the US demo by mistake and the output of the demo is NTSC... Should be fine once i get the HD cables tho
Where would i be able to find the Component cables and how much should i be expected to pay?

They had the 80GB version but i saw no benefits over the 40GB..
I can change the hard drive myself easily so i dont think the price difference is justified
