i'm running 3gigs of RAM (1X2gig ; 2X512) DDR2 667mhz. no probs. (it's Transcend BTW)

Ah thats why some mobo's have 2 Green and 2 Red Ram slotsso your 512 Pair is running Daul Channel and so should your 2GB chip

Tom's Hardware found no significant difference between single-channel and dual-channel configurations in synthetic and game benchmarks (using a "modern" system setup).

I have 2x512mb's DDR2 667Mhz, if I add a 1gb DDR2-800 module in one of the slots, would the 512 still run in dual channel or should I just get 2x 1GB DDR2-800?
Any noticeable difference between ram running at 667 vs 800mhz?
Is 2GB sufficient for gaming?
