Best Smaller Bluetooth Speaker

I have a MI speaker, and Jbl Tuner.
The sound of the MI is great.
The big, big letdown I have with the MI speaker is the battery life (which is quite ironic since I experienced the exact opposite with their phones).
But the speaker battery is really bad. Like borderline horrible. I don't understand how they opt for such a small battery for such a big speaker.
It comes standard with an 2600mAh, In my opinion it should have come with at least a 5200mAh.
2 hours of music next to the braai and it's dead...
I bought a 20000mAh battery bank which is now a dedicated battery pack for the speaker.
I'm happy with the price and the sound is good. MI in general is a quality brand. But won't by another speaker unless they upgrade the battery.

That's weird, mine lasts hours, you sure you didn't get a dud?

The Xiaomi speakers are on 'special' today for R650 on Takealot (Black and Blue). Tempted to grab 2 as gifts.

JBL have been worth the money. Small square ones are brilliant Jbl go I think. I have the flip 4&5 aswell as their blue tooth head phones. The Jbl go are decent prezzies.

Now to burn in the new bad boy.

Pairing is seamless.

My only gripe with these speakers is that the feet become sticky over time. I keep them on tissues as a result… The new one’s feet are sticky out of the box.

At first listen (Imogen Heap – Happy Song), there is far more detail in stereo mode.

I wish you could make Deep Bass stick instead of having to enable it each time.

Oh, and disable all of the voice confirmations.

Well I just learnt something new, and I use mine all the time.... What button changes the EQ?
