Best SUV?

The new VW SUV Toreng (spelling) the best one out, get the V6 petrol, with air suspension,

The ML makes me sick and anyone who will put themselves though its ride, has a status / ego issue IMO :)

Yep dont like the MLs much, we had the old shape, It was ok... Looks ugly as hell compared to the X5... the new MLs are ok but still do nothing for me...
X5 trumps it in the looks department!
 
The most comfortable SUV on the road at the moment is the Volvo XC60. It's also one of the safest.

I wouldn't take it offroad tho'. That's what the Toyota Landcruiser is for.

The X5 is a hound. The best looking SUV at the moment is the Q5... or the Range Rover.
 
SUV's are a useless creation...

And I doubt I would call a Range Rover or a Land Rover Discovery 3 an SUV... they're Luxury 4x4's....
 
I wouldn't mind to drive the Cadillac Escalade.

The 5.5 ML AMG series Handles verywell in any given situation. Although The gear shifts are a bit laggy for response time with the engine.

I recently test drived the new AMG 6.3litre and was stunned by its beauty and power.
The car dealer told me that the 6.3 Series had the same engine manufacture in as the previous design of the AMG 5.5 (just a new body with new feutures).

If youre not talking about bling SUVs and are looking for something practical then the XTrail has to be in your shortlist.

The xtrail is very cheap SUV, but with style it falls arround in the right class of a more priecier car.. like the landrover discover 3 etc etc or even AMG

IMO I wouldn't buy it because the materials used in the nissan Xtrail are very cheap and plastics for indoor panels etc. and the front grill looks a bit sluggish too.
 
Its not a Range Rover sport or a Tourareg or a Cayenne but its more practical that all those and probably more capable too, esp the latest one. Depends what you want but I wouldnt call it cheap. Theres a reason its the most popular (last I checked) SUV.
 
If you want to go to Cairo in Africa, Toyota Fortuner is the best the v6 model (not diesel)
And the new Jeep wrangler (long wheel based version) are the suv's to get you from Cape to cairo.
