Best uncapped 384 isp?

1. they ban you from the network, never happended to 384 user or 1mb user so far, seen 384 user do 80gb+ monthly

2. they shape thats why you dont get full speeds, there is way around it ofcourse,( by that means, you can maybe be shaped downloading from rapidshare, but add another download from another site and then max your line, as shaping is per connection)

3. they dont shape per user, shape on network load.

4. normally 4mb user doing 500gb or so, and downloading during day or using a encryption type to unshape there downloads.

5.shaping p2p , filesharing etc is at bottom of the q goes the slowest, while http , email etc is top, throttling is where they make your whole connection slow, email also.

6, they do shape it.

7. now they cancel it the same month i heard.

I doubt mweb guy is going to answer it, why i did answer it , should be about correct.

Thanks hereticangel, very informative. It was really number 4 that I would like MWEB Guy to answer,
or at least just confirm that this will only ever happen with 4mb accounts.

Just one small thing that's bugging me. Let's assume a 384K Uncapped MWEB Account can achieve 80GB per month.

If you work it out proportionately (according to price to be fair), this should be the acceptable data usage per account:

384K @ R219 - 80GB Data Transfer Per Month
1024K @ R299 - At least 109GB Data Transfer Per Month
4096K @ R539 - At least 197GB Data Transfer Per Month
10240K @ R1999 - At least 730GB Data Transfer Per Month

Is it safe to assume the above is "acceptable use" with MWEB?

EDIT:
If Line Rental is added into the equation, which IMHO is should be, because faster lines cost more, and because the line rental is the same for 4096K as it is for 10240K, it should look more like this:

384K @ R299 - 80GB Data Transfer Per Month
1024K @ R588 - At least 157GB Data Transfer Per Month
4096K @ R899 - At least 240GB Data Transfer Per Month
10240K @ R2359 - At least 631GB Data Transfer Per Month

Mweb told me around 30Gigs was acceptable for 384.

30gb on 284 is really low. I pull at least 60 a month with Openweb. No complaints yet.
Because you are on the expensive low throttling one at double the price. Yep I hear u.
