Best upgrade HDD for PS4?

I'm looking at upgrading my 500gb PS4 to something bigger.

All the reviews seems to suggest it's more bang for buck to get a hybrid drive than going full SSD.

Does anyone know of any compatible hybrid 1tb or 2tb drives locally that will work? I've also read that some hdd's don't have the correct interface on the hdd itself and requires the casing to work.

The toughest part was trying to open that thing, used my fingernails to get around the edges and it eventually came out. Be gentle as it has these internal clips on the casing that can easily crack. I then took my 500Gb and put it into the external and it works without any issues.

Any 7200rpm drive will give almost SSD performance.

Doesn't even need to be hybrid. The default drive is 5400rpm.

Quickly checking the interwebz and Youtube, it actually seems to make a difference that's not too shabby. Seems the little bit of SSD helps.

A bud of mine said the same, he installed a 1tb sshd and noticed no difference and suggested I go the 2tb 5400 route; I'm happy.
