I got the 50GB Mtn black friday deal and I have amazing LTE speeds in my area, I have been using a Tp-link router with OpenWRT ROOter firmware and a 3G modem, it works perfectly but I want LTE speeds!!

What's a good option?

I'd prefer to just get a LTE Usb modem and use it with the ROOter, it does support a few LTE modems:

They seem to imply the widely avail E3772 is supported at "Full LTE speed" but under LTE support it says no?

The Huawei B315 router also looks good.
If anyone has a good deal on an LTE router or modem drop me a PM!

What is the Huawei B593 like, how does it compare to the B315?

Also seems there is an even newer Huawei E5186, supports LTE-A

I have a B315 still sealed. It costs R1500 from telkom or R2000 from Takealot. My data sim just activated now so I will be opening my router to get it set up.

If you wish to game online I believe you need to apply for an unrestricted APN from mtn. Ive been trying since Saturday but no one at their call centre seems to know what that is.
