Best VDSL Modem

Not sure, but maybe you should get a modem compatible with VDSL and fibre (future proofing).

Suggest staying away from the Billion 8800NXL. VDSL modem is rock solid. WiFi on the other hand is hit or miss. Some users are fine, and others like me have serious issues.

I'm actually looking for a solid modem, running in bridge mode. How about the Zyxel's Axxess and WA sells?

Zyxel VDSL routers are solid and also available on Takealot. Have a look at the VMG8924

We reckon our own DrayTek devices are the most robust and feature rich ;)

Give a shout if we can help at all.

Got a Billion 8800 but i just use it as a modem the Asus RT-66AC does the DHCP and Wifi.
Have the Zxyel at the office, its not bad, but not as good as the Billion. Also used it as a modem only.
