Any update as to when your new high site covering midstream hill would potentially be up and running?
 
@Urbanet Networks @WiradXtreme why dont you guys register as company reps on myBB just send the administrators a message it costs you nothing. Then you can all start your own topic thread about your various offerings so we can all get fair representation on this awesome forum!

We had a very nice site that would have worked for you but the landlord pulled out of the agreement so we have to start from scratch and find a new location. Will keep you posted.

Strange thing i noticed the last few days (27 up 30 October), is that the link performed extremely bad - especially on Torrents/ NZB's( less than 1GB per day), which all of a sudden cleared up today (will monitor for a day or two more to be sure)

Thus, trying to figure out, since month end congestion usually points to capped products, who your upstream provider could be? I normally experience that levels of degradation on a ADSL network, but not sure how it fits in with your Fiber backbone running on your towers.

Hello Neo_X we do shape P2P including NZB during peak hours and when the network is under load. Give us a shout on [email protected] and we will check out your connection and see if you have a problem connection there.

Hello ! No immediate plans but we are constantly expanding coverage so hopefully in the very near future. Im sorry couldnt help right now

I am moving to Raslouw Gardens area soon. Do you have coverage there & how much is the installation charge?

Also, I mainly use the connection for Gaming & Video streaming (XBMC, YoutTube etc). What is your throttling policy?

Hello iru786, yes we have good coverage in Raslouw. Give us a shout via the website (top right sign up/contact us) and we'll do a free site survey and give you an exact install cost.

4 or 6mbps account should be perfect for you. We dont throttle, we do however shape all torrents/p2p etc during peak hours.

Also what kind of effect will the shaping have on live streaming during peak hours?

The shaping only affects peer to peer and torrents etc. So your streaming should be good.

Unfortuantely there wasnt LOS for me...
Tallest building in Eco Park (3 stories) and still no LOS.

We are busy sourcing space on a tower thats the tallest in the area. We are just going through the motions its alot of paperwork and hopefully its approved soon. We will be intouch to see if you still need connectivity once the site is live.
 
Filled the online form now. Waiting for you guys to advise as to when will you be able to come around to test.

Got a reply back in regards to my request saying "Unfortunately due to trees we dont have coverage at Raslouw Gardens at this stage. We have tested a few clients previously and each time our test fails."

How long ago was this test done because to be frank, I can't see many trees around now, All you see is houses being built every where... May be the trees have been chopped down?
