Better network the answer, says Vodacom CEO

Imagine the impact you can have if you release a "cellphone" network that full supports Skype incoming and outgoing calls - and even encouraged it. Even creating your own (not overly expensive) device to integrate with Skype seemlessly. You would be changing the rules of the game very quickly (if you could handle the capacity).
 
How is VoIP disruptive? like google sms is disruptive? bottom line disruptive?
 
Disruptive to their business plan maybe. True VoIP (SIP) uses very little bandwidth, Skype on the other hand generates a fair amount of constant peer to peer traffic and DNS lookups.
