Beware: 8ta Debited R4959.87 instead off R200.

Hi Guys,
please make sure in your accounts that 8ta did not charge you more than what they supposed to. They supposed to charge me R200 for internet pomo 5. But they debited R4959.87 from my account. My other debit orders are going to rejected because of this over charge.

Is anbody paying 8ta with EFT instead of debit order?

This appears to be 8ta/Telkom's collection drive to pay for potential Competition tribual fine. I'm out of pocket for 24months contract value.

Looks like you got debited for the full 24 months, there is actually an option where you can pay for the contract up front like that so some one must have been confused when signing up.

So u cancelled and then they billed you for 2 years? Better log a dispute pronto. One of the reasons I limit debit orders for data services. Seems we get screwed sometimes.

They could charge you for data 1R/MB instead of using contract bundle.

Neither do I but my dad does. itemised billing statements are available for about an extra R20 a month.
