Whiny little basement dwellers who don't understand how the real world works

No, Evetech is crap. There are hundreds of complaints about them on this forum. And it especially makes zero sense using them when Wootware is available with competitive prices and they are probably number one for customer service in any industry here.

100% agree, can't help you.

"Duh I dO oNe DEaL wIff EveTEcH aNd NoW Dem iS GoOd"

Not sure if you have seen but there are 100's of responses in the main evetech complaint thread.
Just because you bought a R200 flash drive from them and it worked, doesn't equate to them being anything less than a crap supplier.
Lol. This clown. Bought R15k of hardware from them earlier this month for a new pc build. After I paid I realised the 1660 Ti was on special and was actually R390 cheaper than the 1660 I ordered. I contacted them and they swapped it out for me immediately. I asked if I can get two specific fans to make up for R390 they now owe me. They gave me the 2 fans even though I was actually R10 short. They also gave me an extra 256GB M.2 SSD. They delivered within 2 days and have been nothing but excellent in their support. They were always quick to respond to my questions.

I would recommend Evetech to anyone who asks.

I think the "Duh I dO oNe DEaL wIff EveTEcH aNd NoW Dem iS GoOd" says a lot about this guys mentality.

Ive bought 20k worth of stuff from them over a period. No issues so far either, ok'ish delivery times and one well handled rma

Your ability to comprehend simple concepts is obviously lacking.
So because you had a good experience with evetech, that somehow negates the 100's of people complaining about them?

Clearly I am not the only one who had a perfectly fine experience with them since quite a few people on this thread said they have no issues with Evetech either. And yet you want to talk to me about comprehending simple concepts just because I had a good experience? As if I am the only one? And maybe 100's (as you put it) had a bad experience. But then also, people are more likely to go rant on the internet when they had a bad experience compared to when they have a good one. People are more likely to bitch than praise.

But sure, come talk to me about comprehending simple concepts, chief. You who can't even comprehend simple the simple rules around getting the free game. Or in your own highly intellectual language:

'Duh I dO oNe BaD dEaL wIff EveTEcH aNd NoW Dem iS BaD'

Sure thing, buddy. We will find you a safe space where the bad people at Evetech can never touch you again.

Judging by the amount of reviews on Google. I would say there are far more happy customers

Maybe Evetech improved on their after sales service in the two years when this thread was started. ;)

Nope, still have present day negative feedback here, carb & hellopeter.
4.4 out of 5 rating after 2721 reviews on Google is pretty good. Also have a 3.9 out of 5 on Facebook after 318 reviews.

Personally I have also only had positive experiences with them. I am sure they messed up with a few clients as is bound to happen but I will happily recommend them.

I purchased a new mobo, graphics card, ram, processor, cooler... fark it, basically a full new pc from them in component form without any issues. Everything arrived as and when promissed.

Actually I seem to recall there might have been a minor delay, but not enough that I can remember it now. This was in 2015 or 2016.

I'm now looking to upgrade my graphics card, and was considering going back to them, but with all the hate here, maybe I'll skip em.

The problem isnt with buying anything from them, its with returns or RMA's

That is where things go pear shaped.

Ok. My final rebuttal. Since it was my first time putting a pc together, I did a **** job applying the thermal paste on the CPU. I also got 2 extra fans to put in the case not knowing that the mobo only had one header, so the extra two fans were in there but not hooked up. With the above two issues, I got an issue with the CPU overheating. I actually thought the issue was with the GPU cause the screen would switch off. Anyway, took it to them to have a look. They did and told me the issue is with the CPU overheating. They reapplied the thermal paste and put in a splitter cable to hook up the other 2 fans. And what did they charge me for all of that? Nothing. Not a red cent. Gave me the cable for free and didn't charge anything for the paste. And since then I haven't had any issues with the PC again.

So I am still very happy with their after sales support.

You should see ZAGA facebook group - people posting they got their evetech stuff - looks like their new PC builds were used as a soccer ball before delivery.

Let me just put it like this Wootware do what evetech can't - Evetech offer lower prices which is their claim to popularity.

Likewise.

Luckily I haven't had to return anything to them either, but one student I know that bought a monitor from them also have a LOT of hassles getting help in returning / replacing it.

@Belligerence - true dat - Evetech do have lower prices, but if Wootware has the same item in stock for a little bit more (R50-R100), I'll rather end up using Wootware for their excellent service and packaging.

If there is one thing of Evetech that really peeves me off it definitely has to be their horrendous packaging.
