Beware registering for e-tolls

that is why i don't touch anything SANRAL related on the web... it is all just a trap.

My post in the previous article is reference:

No amount of curiosity will make me trust Sanral enough or ever to take a gander at the information they may or not have on me, my vehicles, owned or previously owned. The entire process in which they collect information is full of flaws with endless possibilities to scenarios that may have generated these.

In addition, their desperate measures used to suck in road users to their website, including the obvious use of MyBroadband, whether willingly or not, underlines the serious trouble these critters have spiralled into. The use of an article such as this which Sanral fully appreciates will get the attention and hits to their website they desire, is also deeply troubling.

There is no amount of written guarantees which will prevent Sanral and their henchmen from using this to their advantage. The current regime has done precious little to endear trust. Their deeds are often clandestine and self-enriching. How do we know if this ploy is any different. In so doing, I ask, how does the author of this article know that they are not damning or creating unnecessary strife for the many that are curious about what lies beneath. Where is the disclaimer.

My personal opinion is that this article is in poor taste.

This article has been created a week too late. The first article should have displayed a prominent caveat in it alerting readers to the potential consequences.

Imo, the first written article of 03/11/2015 has potentially unlocked a world of pain for many curious and unsuspecting readers. I say it again, the writer of the first article was in poor form in representing an establishment who prides itself on keep its readers informed.

No use arguing against a brick wall. They are journos, they honestly believe they are better than us mere mortals.

How the fark can they believe that?

I've only ever been a scientist and my use of language is far superior to what they could hope for on their best day.

I seriously suspect high-school dropouts of becoming journalists, judging by the poor way they wield the tools of their trade.

In my book a journalist is a very low-class profession. Apparently some people agree with me too on overseas websites.
Its a profession ideally suited to those who can spin bullshyte so well they believe it themselves, and generally, spin sells newspapers.

Yip, we know. Those SANRAL t&c are pure evil. I won't ever agree to those terms. Now SANRAL when will you pay back the money for to the public while illegally operating with those unlicensed cameras?

I still want to know where user pays as said by the minister comes in. Where is the law that says I have to pay for someone else without accepting to do so?

Long story short; I had 1 of my cars registered for e-tolls (though both my vehicles are included on the invoice). Now I want to unregister that vehicle and I've asked Sanral what the procedure is, but they have not replied.

Does anyone know how I can go about this?
