Beware Windows XP vulnerability

Um I downloaded several updates for XP this past Wednesday. :)

That was my next question :P (Are updates still available for XP... Clearly answered already)

I still use a copy of MiniXP to run a home media server.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but could it be possible these attacks are being engineered by M$ to get people to leave one the most popular OS for 7? So this is more about making money than being the saviour of the day.

Thats why I I disable that crap on XP PCs

I disable updates on my XP. I've never updated it. My parents still use XP and what they do is at their discretion and they both have SP3 so I'm not worried.

Disabling updates is stupid. Might as well cut the seatbelts out of your car as well.

This is what the Exploit has allowed to infiltrate XP Users
Crazy!!! that after nearly 10 years - MS has not fixed all their bugs! Some big Corp should sue the crap out of MS!

still no fix?

Its been almost a month and still no fix?

Cant help but wonder to what extent the attacks increased after the advisory.

Tux FTW :D
