BF 1 SA Servers

So as we all know we were left out in the dark about us not having SA servers (technically speaking this wasn't confirmed). So after reading articles, etc. I came to a conclusion that surely we will eventually get. I'm just not sure who EA will have to talk to in regarding setting up their own servers in SA.

They (EA) have sponsored a launch party in Cape Town, more info on MWEB Gamezone. It would be pretty weird too launch something like this and not give any server support. Another thing as some might know from the BETA, is that Africa is there in the "region" tab. I have never seen a server somewhere else in Africa besides South Africa. So here's to hoping for Servers

Didn't Overwatch have a launch party here in SA? We'll we've never got local servers for that, hell they even have an official Overwatch SA twitter account...

There will not be any local servers. The only official server hosting company does not have any presence in Africa.

I hope I'm proved wrong, but until then there is no way I'm spending over 1k on a fps multiplayer game with no local connection. Especially not with battlefields net code.

Played four hours today and latency is really not an issue.

Yup so far I play at 200ping and don't seem too disadvantaged. Except maybe in sudden 1on1 knife fight

I'm busy with single player while waiting for the monster to finish downloading. It's pretty decent and very, very dark.
