bf 2 help dont put this in the gaming section

the game starts out goin between 50-80 frames on fraps

an hour later same map same situations it drop to under 30 doesnt go up


cpu temp doesnt rise much nor does my gpu

could my chipset be getting to hot (doesnt sound right)


ive tried windows 2000 xp xp 64 (which does run a little better)
amd 3200
6800le
gigabyte board
1.5 gigs transend memory

what else could be my problem?

Punkbuster memory leak?

Try setting the pb update to longer (seen it around, can't rememeber how to do it)

Manually update Punkbuster.

tried to set it to 500 didnt help much

Could be a memory leak in fraps.

And it's pb_sleep <value> then pb_writecfg to save changes.
