I could download it on the first of the month, but I wouldn't mind it if someone could upload it locally.

The full Installer comes as 2 files - one for the core mod and the other is the core maps. You need both files to play AIX 2.0!
DOWNLOAD SIZE: Core Mod is 761mb, Core Maps is 1.28gb

Is there a difference between AIX and AIX2.0?

Reason i'm asking ... there was an AIX server up and running last year. It would be fully populated with bots and would drop one everytime a player joins - to make sure the map is always full.

It was quite laggy and rounds would end waaay too quickly. The completely overpowering hardware was the Harrier and the Apache. It was great fun!

i hope that the jet/chopper fly dynamics feel different for each.......that would be cool
