BF2 Maps and local Servers

Didnot find any map installer on ftp.games.saix.net, wil keep looking
but if you got a link that would be cool, thanx
 
w1z4rd, Thanks I did get the map , Was looking for some clever tool that can help with the
installation, everything seems to install correctly but nothing works.
Do I need to add the maps to some .con file?
 
Incremental Patch

Read the question somewhere, can`t find the post again,
so I`m just gonna ask again, hope its o.k
will the 1.41 update ,work correctly with the original or do you
actually need the incremental patches fro 1.2 to 1.3 ext, before you can
update to 1.4?:confused:
 
Final just use the 1.41 patch. Why dl more than 1GB? Patch 1.41 is a 548MB dl. The increment patches only go to 1.40 on the SAIX server ftp://ftp.games.saix.net/battlefield_2/patches there is no 1.40 to 1.41 patch which I know about.

I played BF2 SP and once at a LAN. Got my copy of BF2 2 days ago to play online - it rocks!!

Agree it is cool, just need more maps, Thanks anyway. Installed the 1.41 just wondered about the others
 
Installed Highway Tempa on my testing HDD. I don't see it anywhere in the SP stuff. Is it only for online?
 
I think its for online/multiplayer only.
They would have to create AI for bots etc for it.
AIX is still the best way to go if you want a new experience...
 
Well look to be online only. Although I downloaded it from the SGS server, installed it, tried playing it - server tells me it is not installed.

Think I'll go for the AIX mod.
 
Rocket-Boy You are SO right, downloaded the AIX mod, it`s like an hole new game,
just love the new stuff, and there no prob installing the map pack ether, added bonus for me!
P.s Highway Tampa map did install, just flip every time I saw the add.
 
AIX is the stuff, takes a bit of getting used to with the double zoom on sniper rifles etc, but its got everything BF2 was missing.
 
Snail112, you can get the AI client file for H Tampa map there also.

Hell Yes, but must say I love the double zoom, now not even I mis LOL:D
do you know of any local servers for AIX? If offline is that good, online should be even more fun

Thanks for that. I also loaded a single player mod, so now I can play all the maps on singleplayer with up to 64 players... Getting some flying experience at last!! :D
