BF2 NEW FREE

International servers are not bad at all. Sub 200 ping on EU ones. Mortars are always effective even with a high ping.
 
I used to play with HeadTrauma back in the day, glad to see you are still around man.

I saw this thread and got immediately excited however the fact that it still based off the BF2 engine limits my excitement considerably.

If there is enough players I could definitely try get this going again. Had some of the best milsim experiences playing this with the BFC guys back in the day. Havent found a similar experience anywhere else.

Hey Surv0, Long time no shoot ;-)

Yeah you don't notice the bf2 thing so much when the lead is flying and PR (for me) is a place holder till Squad gets released.

Just get PR man, its free, its standalone and I promise to be gentle this time ;-) Is BFC still around?

haha ok cool, im going to get it going.

As far as I know BFC isnt around anymore, well none of the guys we used to deal with. Bulls effort into the game made it all the more enjoyable to play, wonder what he is up to these days. And Chaos for that matter.

Im also waiting for Squad, definitely going to get involved in that.

Squad is basically PR2, or PR with better graphics/new engine.

It's in kickstarter / pre-alpha currently.

Ah Bull! Now there's an oke who made me proud to be part of the BF2 community. He would shoot the *** out of you from the opposing team and make your life a living hell...but if you squadded up with him he'd take all the new PR guys under his wing and show them the ropes.

If Bull wasn't on your team, you sure better hoped Maximus and his defibs were. :p
 
I'm trying to bring about 8-10 guys of my clan over from America's Army to PR. I'm trying to sell this game as hard to them as Tommygun has been selling this game to the people here on myBroadband and myGaming. But the game is fun, has a nice strategic element to it that the other shooters I play do not have.

Yes it was fun for sure, I still have to learn a lot of patience with this game, but really not a bad game at all
