I'm assuming that's romeo mike? Had a look tonigh and no players.

Is there a way to change the fov on this game because it gives me motion sickness with that bopping up down while running, had the same issue FC3 & changing the fov helped a lot.

Are there mods for this game to improve the gfx? I set everything to max & it looks a bit bland, I know it's about the gameplay but if one can improve the gfx it would be a plus, my gpu is idling :D

Ill look around, some modder had made small prog to enhance gfx significantly, you can check the forum paqe Re FOV, I think not, its set to keep things the same for all players, although you can run it in 4k mode...
I suspect Romeo Mike wont get full unless we actually organize it for a night. Dont wait, just hop on a European server, probab.y a ping of 200 or less if you lucky. Its very playable and youll soon find out if its for you or not.
 
Thanks I've already had a look at that nvidia gpu otimisation thread.

I'll have a look at 4k with DSR. The bopping around thing is a big deal for me.

Are there any mods for stuff like high res texture packs etc?
 
Maybe we should set a night to try and get those who have downloaded the game to play local? Sunday? Afternoon/evening or other?

As far as I know BFC isnt around anymore, well none of the guys we used to deal with. Bulls effort into the game made it all the more enjoyable to play, wonder what he is up to these days. And Chaos for that matter.

Im also waiting for Squad, definitely going to get involved in that.

Wow, now this is 'n blast from the past. I spent a looooot of hours in my life on that game online. Awesome bunch of guys around, and the bast*rds haha, asault and those okes. Oh the flame wars. I think maybe I'm going to install bf2 again and all those huge patches for a bit of old school flying again. I suppose there ain't servers running with that on anymore?
