BF2 working then not.

I don't know if anyone else reasently had this problem. but this is starting to get really anoying.

last week my BF2 worked great untill 3 day's ago.

u know when u go in the ea logo pops up etc ads running well i don't get that just dark the whole time and when i press ctrl alt delete say's not responding.

and another thing also get suddenly the msg check network connections when i want to log on. but i can search in google etc?

anyone here got this similar problem? anyway to fix this help would be apreciated!!! and btw i formated twice though it could be some bugs or viruses but still get the same problem?

Not related to your problem (Well shouldn't be), but you can have a faster game startup if you rename (or delete) all the startup movies.

IIRC, <BF2 install folder>\mods\bf2\movies

Rename or delete all the files there. I've had mine renamed since the beginning and have never had issues with patches etc, so it should be fairly safe to delete the files entirely.

For what it's worth, I don't know what might be causing your problem.

Something else you might want to try:

Go to My Documents\Battlefield 2\

Select all folders under there other than Profiles and Screenshots and delete them.

Try start up your game.

If you're still having trouble, I would suggest renaming your Profiles folder. This means you will need to retrieve your account details and reconfigure everything from scratch again. (Unless you're familiar with the various config files, then you can simply copy and replace)

thanks for the info but like i said i tried that ith new install with windows and reinstall bf2 twice still got the same problem

but i will try the other options u guy's gave me thanks!
