Hi All

I have being playing BF 2142 for a few days now and
got disconnected from the SGS server.

When i tried to re-connect from start it came up with
a "new patch available" but i have looked and cannot
find anything.

So for some reason i can now connect to international
servers but the server update list no longer see's the
SGS servers  .

I have re-installed the patch v1.01 and even went as far as too re-install the complete game without any joy ?

Mabye i'm just not ment to play BF 2142....:D

EVERYBODY should play it...try reinstalling your whole game? Your internet connection not fapping, perhaps? Then you need to klap Telkom! haha:D

I had the same problem at first and even downloaded the EA installer. In the end I managed to find the patch on the saix web page.

http://games.saix.net/

How is this game seriously???? Im considering buying it but I tried the demo first and it was too faulty to play properly. Also are the patches as big as BF2 patches..those are sometimes INSANE!!!!!!!! 1 BF2 patch=10% of my cap :(

Great thanks for the links.....

I think EA seriously needs to make the patching automatic when you log
on so as to not have to search the web for a 3rd party link for the patch.

The damm re-direct to the patch site on EA BF2142 site does not list
the 1.05 patch as an available download.... well as least not when i checked.

You would think that a company as big as EA games would think of something
like that.

When I tried playing the game last night, it automatically took me to an EA site where I found the patch. no prob.

I think this patch caused more problems than what it fixed.

Since installing the patch
The game has crashed 3 times.
Connections are lost about once an hour.
The lag on the Titan server is now really bad (by the time you press fire the guy is 3 meters away)

Am I the only one with these problems?

I made the mistake of installing 1.06 before the servers had it. Had to uninstall and re-install to connect to the server again.

Aaarrrgghhhh.
