BF3 / Origin Account Names...begin

For some stupid reason the beta took my BF2142 name

when i sign in to origin then my name is DarkKaas, and when i play the game my name is DarkKaas. How can i change my name for it to display in the game??

HELP!!! After spending a week trying to dload the beta, it says ready to install, i click it,says installing, wait 10mins nothing, it goes back to ready to install. So i logout and try again this time it says installed. I try run it bf3 has crashed blah blah, i try run it again it says there is an error with your installation please reinstall. WTF must i do now. SO sick of this crap. I downloaded it from WAGE.

**** this what a waste of a week of my life. I uninstalled copied the files again, opened origin it downloaded 50mb or so, i installed tried to run it again and...We're sorry, an error occured. There is a problem with your game's setup. Please reinstall your game. Now i have no ****ing idea whether it will run on my pc.

Heres how i got it working
 
Oops wrong thread lol. I read something bout needing IE9 so busy getting that. Thanks for the link but i did follow those instructions exactly.
 
Ok i didnt "clear download", let me try that thanks.

Unfortunately same error.

It seems installing IE9 might be the fix.
