I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't seem to find a answer.

When I visit my GF, the brother and I try to play BF4 and for the longest time now, the same result happens, as soon as he joins the server, we both get kicked from the server.

The basic Googling I've done, especially with regards to UPNP Enable / Disable (It's enabled) and the game doesn't work either way.

I figured after the latest 'massive' update, the issue would be resolved, but it isn't.

The router is a Belkin router and it's a 2MB line.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

PS: Error is:

Error
Game disconnected: Client closed down connection. Check your network connection and make sure that port 3659 (UDP) is open.

Have you turned upnp off on both the router and the PC? Have to turn it off on both.

Turn off PC UPnP Service:

1. Press: Windows-button (the one between lAlt and lCtrl) + R, a window should pop up.
2. Write: "services.msc" (without the ") then press enter.
3. In the list of services, scroll down to "UPnP Device Host", click it and press "Stop service".
4. Now do the same thing but with the service "SSDP Discovery".
5. Exit the window and go to control panel-> Network and Internet-> Network and Sharing Centre-> Change advanced sharing settings (to the left)-> Under "network discovery" select to turn off network discovery
6. SAVE CHANGE

Edit: you can also try to put one of the machines on a VPN, will increase latency but change IP.
