Near future modern combat.
120 Player Maps
Crossplay
TOTAL physics Destruction
Real-Time Natural Disasters (Fighting in Tornado etc)
PC/Next-Gen Only.
Instead of fighting for Nations, you fight in proxy PMCs, total customization.

BR mode going F2P like Warzone, launching after main title.

Let's just hope they amp up the anti-cheat or give console players an option for console-only crossplay.

Don't think there's enough next-gen console players in ZA for that to happen, will definitely need PC base to get consistent local 120 player servers.

Previous BF games played fine on console with plenty of local servers. If you look at the current Warzone player base (being free and all) console shouldn’t have a issue.

I’m not sure if you experienced the BF5 cheating pandemic killing the game essentially and with the new BR being free RIP if they don’t have a decent anti cheat

Not at all, BF5 died pretty badly, to the point where EA announced shut down of the local servers.

I'm sure they'll figure something out WRT anti-cheat. I'm referring to BF6 (Paid title) itself and not the F2P BR coming later down the line.
 
Can this trend of calling ACTUAL CURRENT GEN consoles "next gen" please stop? It's nonsensical. Just think about it for a minute.

And BF6 will actually be on Xbox One and PS4 as well. Just like how Battlefield 4 was also released on Xbox 360 and PS3.

I thought about it for two seconds and disagree with you. Games on the PS5 and Series S/X will be distinct enough for there to be an obvious generational divide and the crossover has only just begun, the vast majority of games being released this year are not utilizing tech in the new consoles for much other than speedier load times. Their time has not yet come.

If you played the PS3 and PS4 versions of Battlefield 3/4 you would also have noticed that the PS3 versions are very much gimped.
