BFBC 2 MP Vs. COD Black Ops MP

I have both games, and I find them both completely different... BC2 gameplay is weird for me. As one of my friends put it; it feels like you are running around with a hard on... The idea behind it is great. Being able to destroy buildings is awesome! But the overall opinion for me is that it is too slow and irritating.

I prefer the way cod feels to play. The motion feels more realistic and the yes, there is no bullet drop, but it is still difficult to get a one shot kill every time. Let's not forget that this is a game! Its not real life and can never be compared to real life. When I play a game, I was the bullets to go where I aim them and I prefer the more 'arcade' style.

BF fans will always remain BF fans and it is the same for CoD... I have played both and prefer CoD.

Played them all and nothing compares to BF2 in its day, man that was epic.

BF3 is going to be even better, they are actually listening to PC gamers for a change and re-doing some of the epic BF2 maps with superb graphics and destructible environments.

BF FTW

Totally immersive, real (ever listened to the sound on a gamers sound card? - it can freak you out), complete interaction with your environment and vehicles, and team based, which is what wars are about not chuck norris/rambo like - although you have the option to play rambo and statpad but your time wont win

What I love about BC2 is the language and attitude. Its immature but still so funny. YEAH, dropped that $#%^(*&)@ !!!

Call Of Duty Gamers. Temporarily blind and disorientate your opponent by unexpectedly ripping open his bedroom curtains.

Ugh,

Somebody help me please.

I want to buy Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (for multiplayer) but NOONE has stock.
I even checked the physical stores.
What should I do.

Got both.. Played BFBC2 till like lvl 20 ish.. then picked up BLOPS, never touched BFBC2 again..
I like to shoot a guy and know he is dead.. Hit reg is so fail in BFBC2..
BFBC2 is fun no doubt especially taking a tank and blasting apart a map, but doesn't fit my playing style..

Okay, I'm buying BC2 to try it out now.

Edit: Ack, purchase 'still being processed'. Did the same thing with MW2. what's so difficult about it? I clicked pay, you accepted my money, now you make the game available for me to play.

The thing I like about BFBC2 and other BF games is that it takes a team effort to win. You also have time to work out a good strategy to kill your opponent.
Cod games have in reality replaced games like quake and unreal tournament with their fast paced action gameplay.

Well, if you hurry, Steam still has it on special for $7.50, but only till 7pm tonight, so you better hurry ;)

I really hope it's not out of protest...
Kinda.
Its in protest and complete and total hate for the Steam app since its inception in late 2003.
They are the start of the initial decline and the absolute killing of lan multiplayer games.

I once bought a game years ago that I could never play because my dial-up was insufficient to activate the game, from that day I swore that I will appose Steam with my whole being.

(ps. Don't get me started on apple...)

I kinda felt the same way about steam hated the fact that I had to rely on an app to play games and then
the bandwidth and cap needed just to log in and play but thankfully those things are improving in SA plus always
kinda felt that they where watching me but hey u kinda have to let go of the paranoia now and then and to be
more frank it seems this is the future of gaming, we not gonna have the luxury of buying games in store for
the prices we get from places like steam and taking adv of the whole cloud system can be useful, I now
have games In one catalogue that I can port almost anywhere.

give it a try again ... u'll prob be surprised with the quality and price you get from them.

and to reiterate BC2 all the way ... and if u want something else to keep u busy TF2 is free on steam ;)

Still steam...
I might change my mind in the future (read far distant future) but I am still against it.
Will maar sit at home and play my other games with myself.
Or play some oldschool counterstrike with the ladyfriend on lan.

To tell you the truth I would be fine with steam and activation and all of that as long as I can still play lan multiplayer with my friends offline.

That is really all I want.

I don't see why you wont be able to LAN, I still do. I play mostly in offline mode anyway with steam. Think of it as just another tool
to get all the gaming goodness u want :}

Multiplayer over lan is killed.
you need to be online to play with friends.
i.e. if you have 10 guys over for a lan you better be sure they all have legal copies and can all connect through the router for the required constant internet connection.

exceptions are left 4 dead 2, call of duty world at war (nazi zombie ftw)
