Hey guys where can i download the new map pack before killing bandwidth?
And how big is it???

PS ... Local sites to download?

Ok so is this different from the patch update which apparently is 2.6GB??

it is the update that is also preparing for the release of the Vietnam expansion which we are still trying to work out when release will be.

many thoughts on December but could even be later.
 
It does include maps. Played at a new map on a WAGE server. Very big, open map.
 
Hmmm... that's weird as the update says this is in preparation of Vietnam and a few bug fixes... no map release?
 
i got the update from the ftp site uptop and the maps are all included ... and for some arb reason
the graphics looks awesome suddenly played 2 of the new maps not 2 bad
 
i must be retarded..there is a new BF2BC ? Are you lads playing a beta , or is this a free expansion?

jeez i must get out from under this stone...

Ok, just for those who never read official forums.

www.battlefieldbadcompany2.com/vietnam <- Release date is set for 21st Dec. If you pre-order on EA Store, you can start playing 3 days earlier. i.e. 18th Dec. It will set you back R100.00. Thats right, R100.00 for the expansion.

The patch recently downloaded contains, vietnam/map pack7 and some bug fixes. Additions are the G3 and M14 get a Red dot sight and ACOG.

I played the new maps last night. I'm not a big fan of Cold War map.. seems a bit odd for the defenders. But it was a lot of fun.
 
The patch includes the maps but they where only activated yesterday - so even if you downloaded the patch last week (PS3 like me), you only got a chance to play yesterday when they got activated.

AND DAMN THOSE MAPS ARE AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cold War is my favourite map - that is going to be a killer lan map.

OK so downloaded the file - extracted it. But how do I do the manual install again?
