The Company
A well established South African owned company is searching for BI Developers to join their Team.
At present the team is 8 developers strong and due to demand the company would like to double the size of the team by the end of 2016.
Basic Information
You will be responsible for building, implementing and supporting BI solutions.
The right individual will possess experience in all stages of BI project work (requirements and logical design, physical design, implementation, testing and deployment).
The BI Developer should have a firm grasp of BI implementation methodologies and will have had in-depth experience working with the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS and SSAS).
Skills
• Proven track record of delivering results that bring value to the business
• Analytics problem solver
• Professional client engagement
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good knowledge of T-SQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Indexing strategies
• Data Warehousing
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS
• Advanced SQL writing skills
• Writing relational and multidimensional database queries
• Strong understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse concepts
• Experience in Implementation and Maintenance of Data Warehouse, ETLs, OLAP
• Experience with Agile development using the Scrum methodology
• Creating and deploying POWER BI Reports
• Data Analyst + SQL Developer
• SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, PowerBI, OLAP
• Experience working on financial reports
• Microsoft Certification would be advantageous
• C# experience would be advantageous
