Bicycle Kick - Dangerous or Skill?

Hi following the match of Arsenal vs Villareal's first leg,

Adebayor did a bicycle kick to score the away goal...

My question is had the defender not back away and went in to head the ball from the kick... what would have happened?

I remember seeing something similar but the guy got a yellow card after kicking the defender instead....

If it's Vidic, doesn't matter. Anyone else - bloody dangerous. Was watching the EPL Show last night and it showed Schmeical's top team. There was a bit where Drogba tried to control the ball with his knee and smacked Vidic in the chin. Damn that boy is tough...

If he doesn't back away its dangerous play and a foul since the foot was high and it is dangerous if a defender is too close.

I have no problem with it,it is dangerous but so is going for a header(ok not as dangerous)
However if a player does it recklessly he should be booked.

Hold Low-Kick for 7 seconds and release. there is *some* skill involved into blocking your opponent for that time, possibly causing you to let go of the button and needing to start all over again.

As for dangerous, you are only in danger when trying this move when you have a low amount of health left in Round 2, as your opponent can drain a lot in 7 secs.

Vidic was trying to clear the ball and Drogba kneed him in the mouth. Apparently Vidic's tooth went through his lip.

As for the bicycle kick, I was once saw a video where some guy was doing a bicycle kick and the defender jumped up to try and head the ball so he got kicked straight in the teeth. Ouch.
