i won a bid few years ago and it turned out the good deal was a good laptop from 2016 but... it had cooling issues and battery issues etc. It was valued over 16 Thousand won it for five thousand Rand :crying:

I WILL NEVER Look for a Gaming laptop through bid or buy EVER Again

That was in 2016... its 2022 bro

It's okay OP. I still have this as a reminder of my first post on this forum.
Thank you very much and I hope I posted in the correct section. Thank you very much.

Must have been on something strong back then buying that laptop.

P.S. I still have it and it is still being used.

Those laptop sellers especially on the BidorBuy crazy auctions are very suspect, they’ll be totally vague about the specs and condition and over inflate the value to something ridiculous.

But why start a thread like this years later op, has the burn lasted that long?

Sound like most gaming laptops around that time tbh. They ship them out with little 45wh batteries with tiny heatsinks to cool the power hungry 14nm Intel CPUs.

Thankfully with Intel and AMD competition they are shrinking the dies and consuming less power.

Wow this made me laugh hard.

So with that logic you won’t be buying the same car brand, phone brand when the battery dies?
