Big Bash League vs Ram Slam

Doesn't help that our commentators are a bunch of gormless zombies either. FFS who hires these guys, who talk like it's a test match being played in 1936?

Where's the glitz and the production value? It's fairly obvious when cricket is produced in SA as opposed to England or Australia - sound production is crap, colours are too rich, commentators are crap. Everything just stinks.

At least by far we have the best camera men / women ....

Dolphins should choke when it matters.

Don't write off the Titans taking the trophy again.

In other news King Kallis is set to play the final.

People don't go to cricket because of cheerleaders and trampolinists (if you could even call them that).

Aussies love to go to any game, the crowd then creates an atmospher that the game probably would not have. Having said that a lot of these tickets are freebies - I have turned down several games, not interested in someone clobbering ten sixes-- and last night the huge MCG had only 12,000 for a semi final that was anything but spectacular.

1. domestic T20 needs to be shown on Free to air TV, so that people actually get exposed to the sport.
2. need more franchises, you cannot just have 6 teams.
3. more international players

I am happy with all three of your statements.... you may continue.

I think perhaps the franchises are enough but I do like the idea of more international players and it being broadcast on free tv.

At least we have a double round robin now. When it was a single round some grounds got only one match.

The six franchises are there to provide a higher quality of cricket, but no one knows about provincial cricket, the level below franchises. You will be lucky to find those results in score box in a local paper.

Back when SA had A, B and C leagues, did the lower tiers get any coverage?

Marketing is severly lacking.
