Big changes might be coming to Twitter

Dantley Davis, Twitter's VP of design and research, has tweeted a list of features that he said he is "excited to explore" in 2020.

These features would give users increased agency over who can interact with their tweets and how they can do so.

Some promising changes that could reduce the toxicity, however, they might also retard the extent to which content can go viral. A bit of a tightrope for Twitter.

One change I'd really like to see - they stop censoring selectively based on their political bias, add a dislike or down rank button (like Reddit) which collapses/conceals the Tweet over a certain threshold, and finally stop shadow banning, or at least make it clear when they are doing that.

I'd like a feature to trigger black Twitter and maybe other right wing groups.

Autocorrect any African language to English and then see the users rage, but in English.

It would be priceless.
