Big changes to come

I hate these misleading headlines.
All it talks about is what MIGHT happen if telkom were to buy into this BCX IT company.

blah blah.

What I want to read under a headline such as 'BIG CHANGES TO COME' are ones from my dreams and very much mostly wishful thinking.

...just weeks before President Thabo Mbeki is expected to sign the Electronic Communications Bill (formerly known as the Convergence Bill) into law.

... is there anything else of good to come from this?

it would be nice the day i turn to this website and find an article titled "GOVERNMENT TAKES CONTROL OVER TELKOM AFTER PAPI & LULU WERE FOUND ROLLING AROUND IN A HEAP OF DIRTY MONEY" :D

We heard this story too many times . Just for the record this is Apartheid fault.

Yes and so is aids(Mbeki said there is no connection between hiv and aids),the incompetent gov, icasa,DoC, all the cats and dog walking inthe street.
Get a life. Stop blaming apartheid for Incompetence.

blah blah blah...

Its the people who hangs onto the apartheid theme that keeps it SO alive!.

Exactly, SA needs to look to the future.
The past will always be there and we can't and shouldn't forget the lessons learned from it, but don't blame the past for the mistakes being made TODAY!

Maybe it was sarcasm:rolleyes:

Slow news day I guess. Telkom still hold all the cards unless there's something about LLU in the new convergence bill that I've not heard about. If you control the flow of data there is little anyone can do in terms of competition.

Who ever needs a sign to identify sarcasm must go on holiday now before they'll get a heart attack.
