From a marketing perspective, I'm sure they just want to reshuffle so that compact subscribers channels are mixed with premium, so subscribers can see "what they're missing".
PS: Compact package is sooooo full of repeats, it's either repeated from a week ago or 2-3 years ago. Just enough so you can't really remember where you've watched it. Then it dawns on you, you have a 3 year old kid and you haven't been to the movies recently, which means, you obviously saw it on dstv and it's just another boring repeat.
So, best idea is to either cancel dstv or sit and watch tv with your cellphone in hand in order to get distracted and not watch the whole movie and when it shows again next week or in 2018, you'll be able to watch it again and just catch the parts you've missed. That's my idea of "catch-up". Since the real catch-up isn't available if you don't pay extra on top of the already inflated prices.
